you are just delirious?

That's me, right now. I'm laying in a bed, finally with internet access... anyhow, haven't had a full night's sleep in three days!

We departed from Italy thursday night after our show in Torino to board a plane that was chartered just for us, to fly to Beirut, then jumped on a commercial flight to Dubai. We arrived around 5pm, just in time to get to the fancy hotel we were performing at. After the show we drove around Dubai and saw the crazy building going on there, that place is just insane. Anyhow, we got a quick bite, went back to the hotel for one hour, I repeat, ONE HOUR, of sleep before we departed for the airport at 5:30pm. We flew to Amsterdam, then transfered to Milan to board a bus to then drive straight to Bergamo for our last show on our Italian tour.

It has been amazing and exhausting all at the same time. We were only in Dubai for twelve hours. Performing in Dubai was crazy... I found I was very nervous to play the riq and doumbek there, more so than I was to dance. The audience seemed a bit dazed and confused by the tribal pieces, but they came around after a while and seemed to be very open minded.

We leave in two days for Casablanca for a few days off and for two shows. From there I travel to England and Spain for workshops and then finally home. If you've been trying to get ahold of me it has probably been really difficult the past month. I haven't had much internet access and my phone is broken. I've pretty much been on the road since the beginning of February and have been terrible at answering emails, so if you have written me, please be patient, I will get to you.
